A friend is on a one-month offsite in Hongkong. His wife and 5 year old daughter were to join him there when he left but have had to postpone to around 27th of this month.

They applied for a renewal of the little one's passport on 17th August with all requisite documents, had to do make several rounds of the passport office and police station for verification and other procedures.

They also inquired at the passport office at BKC Videsh Bhawan, where they were told the documents have been acceped, only the passport needs to be printed out. It has been really harrowing for the mother to do this all alone and the child is also very disappointed she hasn't been able to join her father and the now it seems a bit difficult to manage even the postponed dates. Kindly help them. Putting out the application number and name
