#WATCH | Odisha BJP Mahila Morcha President, Aiswarya Biswal, says, “…BJP is a government for progress. Bengal has got independence today in a true sense, as people over there could not vote under pressure. But this time, people willingly voted without fear…this is a threat to democracy, if people are scared, that challenges the existence of their right to vote…the ‘Sonar Bangla’ dream of Bengalis will be achieved very soon…first the Leftist goons tortured Bengal, then they joined TMC, and it increased. That is the reason she was in power for so long, otherwise she would have been voted out due to the appeasement politics, lack of women's safety…”

My Dear People of Odisha,
Odisha today is moving ahead with confidence into a golden era of development. The Odisha Economic Survey 2025–26 carries a renewed message of pride and optimism for all of us. This document is not merely a set of statistics; it is a testament to the resolve and hardwork of 4.5 crore Odias.
Key Highlights of the Odisha Economic Survey 2025–26:
➤ Robust Economic Growth: The State economy has grown at 7.9%, surpassing the national growth rate of 7.4%. Our Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has reached ₹9.9 lakh crore.

More than ₹28,000 crore has been extended towards MSP and input subsidies to ensure remunerative returns. The fisheries and animal husbandry sectors are also emerging as strong engines of rural growth.
➤ Empowering Nari Shakti: Flagship initiatives such as Subhadra and Lakhpati Didi are accelerating women-led development. Today, 16.42 lakh Lakhpati Didis are progressing with confidence, and the Female Labour Force Participation Rate (FLFPR) has risen to 48.7%, an encouraging indicator of inclusive growth.
➤ Industry, Investment & Employment: Odisha continues to strengthen its position as a preferred industrial destination. Over the past year, projects worth ₹5.66 lakh crore have been approved, unlocking large-scale employment opportunities for our youth.
➤ Education & Healthcare: To empower our future generations, the School & Mass Education budget has been enhanced by 38.4%. Through Gopabandhu Jana Arogya Yojana and other initiatives, quality healthcare is being ensured.

This prosperity belongs to you; this development belongs to you. Let us all resolve together to build an empowered, prosperous, and developed Odisha.

The verdict from Bihar’s women is loud and clear — they voted for dignity, security and opportunity, not freebies. Their trust reflects years of women-centric governance, empowerment and real change at the grassroots.
Salute to the Nari Shakti shaping New India’s democracy.
VIDEO | Bhubaneswar: Reacting to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s remarks on women, Odisha BJP Mahila Morcha President Aiswarya Biswal (@AshBiswal) says, “The statement by West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is outrageous and uncalled for. Instead of empowering women, she reflects a regressive mindset by suggesting restrictions on women going out at night. In a democracy, men and women have equal rights, and no one should be stopped from contributing to society. The CM should focus on law and order, especially amid recent violent incidents against citizens and women, rather than ignoring atrocities.
