@Jamesgr64801361 We are starting on ours now as the rotations are flat. We have found in the past if we wait until the perfect time to start, by the end of the rotation it is too mature and wastage increases. The earliest blocks were started 2 weeks ago. Latest will be in 10 days.

@GuscottMark That's what we have found too. 2 year old bulls took a while to transition and didnt do particularly well. Best performance has been from weaner Wagyu cross calves @ 0.7kg/hd/d since feb. We will graze lambs through it late winter to finish crop off. Interested to see how they go

Gave the #raphno a hard time through this drought, grazing it to low residuals towards the end of April but have shut it up for winter and it's coming back bloody well all things considered.. Only had 15mm of rain since last graze.
