@BangkokBrit@BBCSport Speaks volumes that people harping back to that - because it's an outlier in years of outrageous unique refereeing decisions against us.
@Terrordaffodil@BBCSport Weird interpretation of a contact game where two players try to play the ball. Saliba getting his head on it means it was there to be won. Your statement about Saliba just exposed your bias so I shall not continue this chat. Have a good day.
@Terrordaffodil@BBCSport Sure it was awkward defending, but the ball was very cleverly and deliberately flicked up to make it so. The key fact is, Saliba headed and deflected it, so Pedro wouldn't have gained control of it. When the VAR audio is released I bet you won't hear them say Saliba got the ball.
@Terrordaffodil@BBCSport Oh no? So you never see clashes of heads when two players "randomly" go for the same ball? As well as being wrong about that - Saliba also headed the ball - without force or endangering. Go find the video angle that clearly shows it. VAR should've relayed that to the ref.
@Gunnersc0m If you can't read 3d perspective naturally (like some VARs IMHO π) use Google photos > crop > perspective tool and crop to box/grass lines to square & flatten the image to 2d.
In this case it's irrelevant alas but this measures and demo's it perfectly.

@Gunnersc0m The amount of folk who don't understand perspective π.
I've corrected the perspective corrected here - using the penalty box as the reference. You can see by doing this that it's onside. But I still wouldn't trust VAR tech to get this right.
@clivepafc@SouthMetroAFC Ha. Understatement. "Ffs Oliver is so shit" is my version. He has no idea of the difference between a touch, a tackle and a foul.
Or a corner - and it baffles me every time that VAR can't correct corners or throw-ins when it's proven within a fraction of a second to be wrong.
Hi @wfcouncil, our streets (E179N~) are trashed with so much litter among fallen leaves. Please send me data on when they are supposedly cleaned as I haven't seen it all year and it's looking like a filthy slum, and that's aside from the risk of blocking storm gullies again.
@clivepafc The rule say it's not a handball if it's a close range ricochet. It's simply not a pen. The keeper's punch in Merino face I wouldn't want given against us but I'd bet my last penny it would be.
@clivepafc I want to see our players get angry now as these ridiculous decisions are pure robbery. No pen for a punch in the face, not even a free kick as Saliba got the ball. Then a nonsense of a handball. It's robbery.
This is sooooooo accurate. It's so bad it's well worth studying at film school. π
