Having someone who is fluent Russian/English opens the door to higher quality interviews with the many many Russian super talents that we have in the scene. I remember earlier this year @Hency_Heccu did an incredibly entertaining interview with Dastan, where she frequently found vocabulary to help him articulate his points without interrupting the flow of the interview, and it massively helped to improve the quality of the responses

I've had multiple ex-talents come into my (rare and inconsistent) streams and they all say that they really struggle to get feedback from TO's as to why they aren't hired anymore, and therefore, they have no idea what improvements they need to make

The reason that most players stall in CS is that they lose the motivation, or they cannot find where in their game that they need to be focussing on to keep moving forward. I regularly see Heccu co-streaming events from start to finish throughout entire tournaments, and flying to events to do personal interviews on her own expense. This proves to me that the motivation to learn is still there. It would suck for the scene to see her move on

The weird thing that impresses me most about the @TeamVitality dominance is that they're able to be this consistent when it's MR12. Their fundamentals are unbelievable, I think against Parivision they didn't play anywhere close to their top level but somehow they still win 2-0

In MR15 usually the best team wins, in MR12 I think it's much harder to win with so many buy rounds taken out of the equation when you lose the pistol rounds or against a force buy. Yet they are 35-3 in maps over their last 3 tournaments, its genuinely incredible

And then their only player to not win a HLTV award in his role starts the year off like this... wow
