On 9th February 2026, Prof. Dhirendra Katti, Director, Indian Institute of Technology Goa, signed a Letter of Association with Shri K. Ganesh, Director – Sustainability & Corporate Affairs, Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd., under the "Bottles for Change" CSR initiative to promote environmental awareness among the campus community and work towards achieving zero plastic waste to landfill.

I like to understand why, and to (theoretically) engineer molecules with my own hands.

@SchleifTim @guanqichem@CForoutanNejad One effective strategy maybe to have former PhD/postdoc advisors or colleagues recommend you when they receive review requests. It worked well for me—thanks to @KozuchSebastian. This also lets journal editors recognize your expertise, leading to direct review requests.
@Ella_Maru@J_A_C_S Additionally, we've found that mutating the residues around the chromophore's amide group can tune the emission spectrum, though these findings are not reported in the current study as they are still pending experimental validation. (2/2)

An excellent collaboration with Prof. Warshel's team, led by @AshimNandi_ (BTW, alumnus of @Chem_BGU). This paper in @ACSCatalysis describes the mechanistic details of glucagon amyloid catalysis using computational tools. Collaborations bring us to higher peaks!
