Regarding claims by Ms. Pratibha Trivedi (App No. 260412140662) about her NEET (UG) 2026 OMR answer sheet:

NTA has verified the record.

The genuine OMR of the candidate is with NTA. It was also emailed to her at the registered e-mail address during the OMR Response Key challenge window.

The image being circulated is a digitally altered version of the genuine OMR sheet. It is not, however, the sheet held on record with NTA and has been significantly altered digitally

The score of 38 marks is verified and stands as declared.

Creating or circulating a forged OMR answer sheet is an offence under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

The stone-pelting and orchestrated violence carried out in the name of students raise serious questions about the intent of the protestors and those backing them.

Even more telling was the conspicuous absence of many of the prominent faces associated with the protest from the march itself, leaving those who had been mobilised at the behest of their political patrons to face the consequences.

The violence did not appear spontaneous. There were organised groups that initiated it, after which sections of the crowd followed. Similar allegations of organised instigation and crowd mobilisation were made in connection with the Delhi riots, and several individuals continue to face legal proceedings in those cases.

The investigation will establish criminal responsibility here as well, ensuring that those directly involved in the violence face the consequences of the law.

The real conspirators are often those who plan, encourage and coordinate such violence while carefully keeping themselves out of harm’s way. They move on to the next agitation, leaving those they mobilised to bear the legal consequences.
