Reached Parliament street Police Station Delhi along with 20 SC/ST MPs of @INCIndia party to file Zero FIR against an act of untouchability punishable under SCs and STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989, committed against Shri Mallikarjun @Kharge Ji at Haldwani on 10th August 2026. Even after two hours of persuasion by the MPs, the SHO refused to register Zero FIR. The SHO refused to even give in writing reasons for not filing Zero FIR. If this is what is happening to SC and ST MPs, one can imagine the plight of ordinary SC/ST citizens to register FIR in case of atrocity committed against him or her.

The @narendramodi Government has auctioned the Tara coal block in Hasdeo-Aranya to an Adani company after the Chhattisgarh Assembly unanimously asked that this forest be spared.

Over 4,000 acres of dense forest. More than 10 lakh trees. An elephant corridor. The water tower of northern Chhattisgarh. Adivasi communities who have walked hundreds of kilometres to save it.

The State wrote in 2023 to keep Tara out. The Centre itself denotified it. Then it returned as “Tara Revised” and went to the same corporate house that already operates adjoining mines.

This is not development. This is the Constitution’s promise to Scheduled Tribes being sold by the tonne.

No compensatory plantation can restore a living forest. No press note can restore the dignity of people whose land is treated as a coal ledger.

@INCIndia stands with the Hasdeo Bachao Andolan. Cancel the auction. Honour the Assembly resolution. Protect Hasdeo.

Satya Niketan is not a headline.

It is a body count the @narendramodi Government chose not to see. Seven people died when a paying-guest building came down in Delhi.

Five of them were students. The BJP governs Delhi. The BJP governs the Centre. Rescue ended. Accountability did not begin.

NCRB data for 2020–2024 is on the record.

32,596 dead across India in collapsing buildings, fires, open pits and manholes.

5,951 in structure collapses.

22,291 in fires.

4,564 in pits and manholes.

Delhi alone recorded 169 collapse deaths in five years — and that number rose after 2020.

UP, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan account for nearly half the country’s collapse deaths. These are BJP-ruled or recently BJP-ruled states. Deregulation was sold as development. Inspections were treated as inconvenience. Students were left in illegal fifth floors.

Article 21 promises life with dignity. A government that inaugurates corridors and announces “25 years of service” while manholes stay open and hostels fall has no moral claim to #ViksitBharat.

The Centre and @BJP4India state governments must own this record — a public urban-safety audit, time-bound structural surveys of student housing, and punishment that does not stop at one suspended clerk.

The dead do not need a seva pakhwada. They needed a building that would stand.

Addressed meeting of SC and ST Members of Parliament — from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

The meeting was convened by Dr. @DrMalluRavi1 Ji.

Hon’ble MPs strongly condemned the act of “purification” in Haldwani after the visit of @INCIndia President Shri Mallikarjun @Kharge Ji. This practice wounds the dignity of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and violates the Constitution’s promise of equality and the abolition of untouchability.

We also condemn, in the strongest terms, the motivated FIR against Leader of Opposition Shri @RahulGandhi Ji for stating this constitutional truth.

Targeting the voice that defends dignity cannot erase the insult.
The House resolved to constitute a Forum of SC-ST MPs and has sought a meeting with Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji @rashtrapatibhvn to submit a joint Memorandum.

Today, Members of Parliament from SC/ST communities, under the leadership of @KRajuINC ji, AICC National Coordinator (SC, ST, OBC and Minority Department), met at Indira Bhawan regarding the shocking "purification" incident in Haldwani following Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge’s rally.

This is a grave matter concerning the dignity and self-respect of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and a direct assault on the constitutional values of equality, dignity, and the abolition of untouchability.

The meeting deliberated on the future course of action and finalised a joint memorandum to be submitted to the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji, seeking her intervention and appropriate action.

Deeply disturbing reports from #Balaghat, #MadhyaPradesh, where 22 children from the Baiga #PVTG community are reported to have lost their lives amid malaria, malnutrition and a grave public-health crisis. The scale of suffering demands urgent medical intervention, accountability and long-term action to ensure nutrition and healthcare reach every remote Adivasi village.

I appreciate Dr. @VikrantBhuria Ji for visiting the affected villages, meeting the bereaved families and raising their voices, and the @INCAdivasi for standing firmly with the community in this hour of distress.

The lives of our Adivasi children cannot be reduced to statistics. The @BJP4MP government must act with urgency and responsibility.@INCMP @INCIndia
