UPSC exams are getting really tough. Students hailing from disadvantageous backgrounds - especially those who couldn’t get good education & those who have studied in their native languages are literally kept out of these posts. There is nothing wrong in UPSC’s intention of selecting the best, but the question is when majority of students are/were not given opportunities to get their knowledge, skills & personality to be developed during their school & college years owing to poor quality of education, is it fair to set such difficult criteria/papers?

Schools & colleges are not worried about the nature of these competitive exams. They are not aware and they don’t care too. They won’t understand & adapt to the changing demand of neither market nor institutions that conduct these exams. Purpose of education is to train minds & prepare students for life. It’s not happening.

Result of such tough exams is that students are pushed more towards coaching institutions (including ours) out of fear & insecurity.

When education system has evolved to the standards set by UPSC(and the world in general), I believe then it’s fair to set such tough papers.

We need to debate this issue regularly. #UPSC

Ye kahan tak jayaj ki exam 2021 ka ho, notification 2022 me aye, eligibility 2023 ki ho?
Aspirants के 1-2 last attempts छूट जायेंगे, लाखों का बनने का सपना टूट जायेगा मेहनत करने के बाद भी | SSC को या DOPT को अभ्यर्थी की मदद के लिए आगे आना चाहिए| @DoPTGoI

Due to covid19.  Most of the SSC exams have been delayed. Some exams that are usually conducted once a year are now being conducted after a gap of 2 years
Due to this, some aspirants will lose their last attempts. @DoPTGoI
