An important thread.
Just over 3 years ago I was rock bottom, I was at a point where I was done, content in not being here anymore.
A simple message from an amazing person I received that night is the reason I’m still here today.
A simple message of “Hey you! Talk to me”
🗣️ "He shook 25 people's hands and then decided to come and shake the managers hand, that's a lack of respect."
🧂 #CAFC boss Nathan Jones on a 'lack of respect' showed from #NCFC's Philippe Clement 👇

@ArmyAmarillo I think it’ll be just a bit too much to do, we also need the teams in between not to pick up big points. That said, with Hull form being a bit indifferent of late, it would be a tasty decider on the last day… 😅🤣
@norwich_dave My issue is I don’t think he’s anywhere near as direct as he was when he came in, he’s easily brushed off the ball and I think he’s become a bit predictable?
An excellent team performance in that second half and deservedly won the game, but aside from his first 3 games Ahmed offers nothing of note whatsoever. He’s a poor man’s Hernandez with the strength of an asthmatic ant
@IanGabelli Agreed, it didn’t work out here at all and we’ve moved on and upwards since. That said, I think Manning’s arrogance while here grated on a lot of people, and that’s why his failings now are being highlighted more
@huddscoo @TerrierRealist Trust me, it absolutely will be to do with the manager. Manning is probably the most arrogant and worst manager I’ve seen at #ncfc in years, it’s never his fault but of course he ‘needs players to step up’ 🙃🥴
For 2 seasons, 2023/24 and 2024/25, Josh was excellent for us and his goals to games was exceptional. The 2 seasons before and this season average at best, yes the first was in the premier league but 4 goals was utterly pants. He was a good player for the club, not a great #ncfc
Latest on Josh Sargent…
A fee has been agreed with Toronto which will be north of £20m with add-ons.
Sargent on his way to Canada now to do medical etc.
@MortyMark@langerz9 Yes, your last 3 words say it all. He doesn’t want to, because quite simply if he did he would have done already. His down tooled performance against Stoke was as bad as his refusal to play. I’ve no problem if he comes back but the ball is in his court to make it right
