my fellow disabled baddies: be loud and proud about your disability / disabilities! they’re a very real human experience and it’s time the world took notice!
The longing to be understood by your parents and/or family is normal. The pain comes in when you acknowledge they can’t/won’t see what you see, no matter how you say it. This is where you accept their limitations & protect your peace. You’ve paid enough.
life got better when i started being more intentional about my time online. we’re not meant to see all these opinions from people we don’t even know irl.
doomscrolling sucks. make sure ur keeping ur interests outside of social media alive. <3 art, video games, watch old comfort films. anything is better than scrolling through 100s of opinions for hours
You deserve more than the bare minimum. You are not an afterthought. Stop settling for surface level connections when you know you’re craving depth. Stop accepting insincerity when you know you’re ready for something real.
You do not need to explain yourself to people who are committed to misunderstanding you. You do not need to explain yourself to people who are intentionally being nasty to you. You do not have to explain yourself to people who don’t see the world the same way as you do.
