Sitting here on the Senate floor while one of my Republican colleagues solemnly warns us about the “trillions of dollars of debt” and how we must get our “fiscal house in order.” “Enough is enough,” he declares, as if he just discovered math.

Which is rich, considering this same guy voted to pile on another $4 trillion in debt just two weeks ago. But sure, today he’s the patron saint of fiscal responsibility.
