Day 1 of #GADOEMathCON I’m obsessed with the mathemitizing graphic with helpful links for students AND parents! Who knew Georgia Public Broadcasting/PBS had such a wealth of knowledge for parents wanting to help their kiddos thrive in math. Amazing resources for teachers too!

One of my students got a golden coin for the book vending machine after getting her golden reader ticket pulled on the announcements! The kids were all so excited to see which book she chose! She went with The Inflatables! @carriedhilliard @BFESBobcats

3rd grade students in the @BFESBobcats STEM lab learned about the detrimental effects of water pollution on fish. They even got to test the water quality after each pollutant was added to see if the pH would support living things. @StefiWickers41 @principalwebb

Students created animals with the necessary adaptations to survive in their given habitat. Here is a creature fit for the wetlands. They even included a bit of its environment (water, food, etc.) Loving the new STEM lab revamp! @BFESBobcats @principalwebb @StefiWickers41

Students learned about how animals are adapted to survive in their habitats in the science lab today by creating an animal and giving it the necessary adaptations to survive in one of Georgia’s 5 regions! Thanks PTO! @StefiWickers41 @principalwebb @BFESBobcats @BethNation_BFES
