Did I copy down every single sentence Retsuko says and analyze it? Yes. Yes I did.

We had 2 desperate messages yesterday from girls at Yarra Valley Grammar School and both were horrific and upsetting. One is reproduced below with permission. We’ve verified the person’s identity before posting this.
They both contacted us because we stood up as strongly as we could for their rights yesterday, and they appreciated it. And because they trusted us to keep their names anonymous more than they trusted the mainstream media to do so (which is telling in itself).
These girls are traumatised, hurt and terrified the boys will return to the school. In fact, one told us girls and their parents had been to the school Principal yesterday to say they’d leave the school if the boys remained, and we’re proud of them for taking this stand. It looks like two of the boys have now been expelled and we hope this helps the girls and women teachers and is enough for them to resume their schooling with confidence.
Anyone who said yesterday the boys should remain at the school can get in the fucking bin. If they can read the message below and still have the same view, they’re dangerous misogynists whose opinions are shit. 100% shit.
We’ll NEVER agree that a boy’s education trumps a girl’s right to safety, security and freedom from trauma and hate. And we’ll NEVER agree that a boy has an automatic right to attend school if he has harmed others. He may have a right to an education, sure, but may have forfeited the right to be around other students, at least until reform and redress has been clearly shown and the girls in the same location feel safe.
We don’t give a shit if public schools “have to take them”. They shouldn’t have to: no school should be required to have such boys in-person at their campus. If that’s the case currently, change that instead of insisting girls have to attend the same fucking classes “because it’s the law”.
Or even worse, insisting girls should “educate” the boys somehow or be part of some kind of restorative justice program. Yes, some victims prefer to come face-to-face with their perpetrator/s as part of their healing, but a shitload don’t. Girls aren’t fucking therapists for shithead boys. And asking them to be is, once again, the worst kind of misogyny and lack of trauma-informed thinking.
It’s all fucking whacked. And unless we’d seen it for ourselves yesterday we’d never have believed there’d be so many people without a shred of concern for these teenage girls.
We can’t believe the number of people on our feed yesterday who somehow think it’s more shocking to potentially deny a boy their in-person schooling than it is to guarantee girls the safety and support they deserve. This is rape culture in action (remember Brock Turner?) and it should and must be strongly, strongly resisted.
This issue matters hugely because it’s so deeply emblematic of everything that’s wrong with our patriarchal culture everywhere.
We will die on this fucking hill every day and twice on Sundays.

Congratulations to @Kate_Seear on promotion to Professor! Kate is an outstanding academic, highly regarded in her field, well-published and a genuine thought leader in drug use, law, gender and sexuality, and we're proud to have her call ARCSHS home.
Never been more ashamed to be Australian. We killed them, stole their land and their children, and we can't even have the basic fucking human decency to recognise that they were here first and to listen to them about issues affecting them. We're a racist country. #Referendum2023
"..I really hope [this report] helps change the conversation we’re having about trans people in the media and within our homes. I just hope that it’ll continue the process of making our lives a little bit easier. " - Navindra

The absolute audacity of Channel 7 Spotlight featuring the Lifeline number at the end of the program where they attacked and demonised #Trans youth is despicable.
