@KristinONeal18 Yes! Maybe his grandmother was one of those medicine woman or shawman that always passes down information because they believe it would be important in their journey in life.
Allowing the people you love help you can make the learning process much simpler than if you do it by yourself. Though it can be nerve wracking because they won't do it the way you want, it can be a good way to get closer and make memories with each other. #ASUReads
In #LeagueofShadows, another thing that was underestimated was that the people you love (some people more than others.. @ Violet hehehe) can help in great ways. It's the people you love and care about that really get you through tough times. #ASUReads
@KristinONeal18 I am too. I know it said she passed when Charlie was young but it would have been great if we got more stories from her beliefs or mythology.
In #LeagueofShadows, I loved the relationship between the grandmother and Charlie. She cared enough for him that she shared the mythology of her culture with him and make it fun. I believe she was preparing him for the troubling path he is going to take later in life. #ASUReads
@scotlanbrooke I would have loved it if my grandparents told me more about their past and our family history but I was โtoo youngโ for the stories. It really made me wonder what kind of stories I was missing out on.
@NikiMalloy2 I know. Their relationship reminded me a lot of how me and my grandad were. It brought a new meaning to the term โitโs the little things in lifeโ for me
@KristinONeal18 I fell in love with his grandmother. I think she new what he was going to experience and wanted to give Charlie knowledge of her culture to help him later in life.
