"Everything had gone, as if someone had robbed me of something, stolen my identity from a bin. I’m not sure I’ve ever adjusted. I never looked in the mirror before I married my wife; there were no mirrors in the house."

Important to remember:
1. Feelings can change over time. It's easy to believe that your feelings will never change. But they can.
2. Your feelings are valid. We feel what we feel.
3. Talking to others can really help.
