@ALJCLUV 4)Comparing the two is like saying a doctor only cares about a patient if they are crying on a couch, completely ignoring how that same doctor looks when a patient suddenly flatlines in front of them.
@ALJCLUV 3) your body goes into high-alert mode. Leon's face in the fainting scene shows adrenaline and urgency. He was worried in both scenes, just in different situations.
@ALJCLUV 2) โSecondly, Ashley in the couch scene was awake and breaking down emotionally from trauma, so Leon's expression there was empathetic and soft (he even smiled after comforting her). In the fainting scene, when someone collapses, you don't have time to make a tender, sad face.
@ALJCLUV 1) First of all, I didn't say that she was coughing in any of these scenes, i said she was coughing in the chapter where she fainted on Leon, it literally happened just a few seconds before the cutscene appeared and he asked her if she was alright.
@Splatoonyyyy 6) Remake Ashley can also jump down by herself, though I would still love to pick OG ashley up every single time, when she got kidnapped everytime I felt like something was off and the game lost its meaning without her ๐ฅน๐ซถ
@Splatoonyyyy 5) and I didn't find her annoying at all. The only thing I prefer about Remake Ashley is her personality development; she feels a bit more mature, composed, and mentally resilient, whereas OG Ashley gave off more teenager vibes even though she's 20.
@Splatoonyyyy 4)You don't even have her by your side for the whole game, and you can easily tell her to stay put or hide in a dumpster. Those who complain about her just tend to be bad at managing companions. Having just finished RE4 OG for the first time this week.
@Splatoonyyyy 3) in OG she even handles her solo section by throwing flammable lanterns at enemies (whereas in the remake, Leon fights the knights while she supports him from above). Calling her one of the most annoying characters in gaming history is a massive exaggeration.
@Splatoonyyyy 2) Sheโs also a total badass, she drives a wheel loader to break down a wall and make a way to for them to escape, operates the wrecking ball, and navigates the castle entirely on her own to escape the knights, just like in the remake.
@Splatoonyyyy 1.I love OG Ashley just as much as Remake Ashley. She was genuinely helpful and great company, often pointing out things the player might miss, like the red lights under the spiked ceiling trap when I was panicking.
@csayric Isn't she the same woman who criticise Ashley everytime she gets the chance? She cosplayed Ashley again to make the old joke of "ashley screaming help while Leon fighting for his life", the video is on her tt page now, I hate her a lot.
