I’m starting to think that’s their goal to get people to sell their properties. Unrealized gains is what they keep adding yearly up to 10% every year on the value of the property. His whole no tax on unrealized gains is invalid with this scam of appraisal increases 10% every year on properties

Man, it’s rough—the property tax rate just keeps climbing every year (up to 10%). If only we didn’t have it at all, or like you said, it could stay locked in at what it was when you bought the place.
