The reason seems pretty simple: the organization blocks external interference, doesn’t allow religious conversions through persuasion, limits foreign influence, focuses on indigenous markets, and places greater emphasis on reclaiming an Indic identity. It’s more about bringing others to the table rather than running to someone else’s desk. Perhaps this is something external players don’t like to see.
