When Sarpreet Singh stepped out onto the pitch last night, he was representing more than just his country. He was realising the dreams of a global community 🤍
@smclellanduk Yes, he is unable to do harm with a blade, unless he is attacked with a weapon first as a last resort of self defence, written in UK law; the reason why the murderer was rightly sentenced to life, whilst using an additional much larger blade nothing to do with faith or his kirpan
A ‘highly educated scholar’ can’t differentiate between a teenager and a strictly baptised Sikh, the only way you are even allowed to carry a kirpan; knowing exactly what the meaning behind a kirpan is. Now attacking a whole religion with complete bias, nothing new for him. Joker
A regular teenager carrying a weapon faces up to 4 years in prison.
A Sikh teenager does the exact same thing? Zero consequences. Religious exemption.
This asymmetry in weapons laws is MORE dangerous than letting the whole population carry OR banning it outright.
All people like this do is spread hatred and groom non stop, it’s the aim of their life. They don’t even have a clue of what their own religion teaches. Imagine a Sikh figure calling out Islam whilst a young kid is dead. Calling him disgusting would be a compliment to him, nasty.
