I think the most glee coded moment in victorious is when Andre and Beck had to play identical twins… quite literally could be the sue sylvester special
me when jesper fell on top of wylan and looked down to see wylan underneath him and suddenly recognised them from a previous one night stand …… real television.
As a gay man married to a man, I've heard hurtful comments from people who were supposed to be close to me, people who were supposed to protect me and instead pushed me away. That hurts at any age, but it hurts even more when you're a teenager still figuring out who you are.
I've talked with some of those people, and most of the time they just repeat the same hurtful things. But if any of them ever really wanted to change, to educate themselves and grow, I'd be genuinely happy. Not because it erases the harm, it doesn't, but because it means someone else won't have to hear those words from them. In the long run, that's how society gets better.
I don't expect everyone to feel the way I do, and if my own experience was already complicated, I can only imagine what it's like for trans people, who so often deal with the worst parts of this society. I'm sorry you have to face those comments and insults so constantly, you shouldn't have to.
ONC will always be a safe place for trans workers and trans fans. We're proud that this can be a space where LGBTQ+ people get a break from the things they shouldn't have to deal with out in the real world, and it will also be a safe space for anyone who genuinely wants to change, to reform, to become a better version of themselves and make sure they never hurt someone again with something ignorant.
I really believe in this, it matters to me, and I'll always stand by it.
I left the #disventurecamp community a while ago and only now has it resurfaced on my feed. What is happening. Attacking the developers of a show won’t do anything and as far as I’m aware nothing that bad has happened.
