Dipak Dutt Choudhary, organized the first India Independence Day luncheon in 1937 in Landon & was entrusted by Mr C.F. Andrews to organize the introduction of Indra Nehru (Later Indira Gandhi ) to the Brirtish ‘Public’ at the Friends House. Indra was then a student at Oxford.
