Sad that #NEETexam for MBBS, BDS etc are going on as scheduled in Tamilnadu, inspite of the fight, sacrifice of students etc. Only the students with money and coaching are going to get in, even if there is #TNGovtSchoolsQuota of 7.5% seats, but it is minuscule.

The bout of horrible weather is kinda of over in NJ, USA. Next rains predicted for Thursday... This whole week was a wash. Going to Univ, was a big task by itself.

Logging back in Twitter after 5 months or so. Whatsapp was only used among friends. Memories of #Sept11th was not there, as I was very young... but read about it later in detail when I was in college. Very sad, everytime I think about the heinous act and the lives lost.

Back from a wonderful #SpringBreak trip as planned. So far so good. All healthy. We didnt go to crowded places. Only met friends & relatives

Today evening we are going to DC and then a long drive to Chicago, via Pittsburgh Temple. Brother's family with Jo's Parents are coming too! We are going to meet Naresh @ Detroit, stay over there (rooms booked) and meet his Fiance's Uncle family for Lunch on Sunday! :-)

Brother's family with SIL Jo's Parents are here! Jo's Parents arrived in US during September 1st week (they are going to Canada Feb end to stay @ relatives till April). Both have retired after son @NareshVipinK has married and both sides are visiting US on regular basis *except*

It was a nice #Christmas at North Bethesda, MD near DC with hubby Abinav's sisters family & Abinav's Parents. Nothing special. Only home with some drive around. We are starting back tomorrow night. Inlaws and company will be driving to NJ next Thursday afternoon for #NewYear2021

#Christmas Nice to see friends sharing different parts of US decorations and pictures. This time people are spending effort as they are WFH most of the times. We put a serial blinking light in front of our Townhome at NJ for few days and switched off on 24th before starting to DC

Parents were supposed to start to US during September, then it was delayed to January. Hopefully they would travel along with granny in next 2 weeks. Late night call with them. Eager and excited to meet them after almost 10 months. Now worried with COVID19 and the new UK strain!

@Kattathorai Friends in the bubble as well. We do visit them. Everyone is masking up and wearing gloves and also use sanitizers regularly. Helps a lot.

Our weekends have been limited to meeting Abinav's Sisters family at DC and they have driven here as well, now that Inlaws are here since Sept 5 who stayed just 2 days with us, will stay at DC mostly. May be during #Thanksgiving & #Christmas break, they will stay with us for long

Been a while, since I visited Twitter. Been busy with my courses for PhD. Exams are over. Then it is pure research time. #SpringTerm to start on Jan 18th and full time classes to begin in a weeks time. Expecting more international students, compared to #FallTerm Hope normal soon!

Today Inlaws are arriving from India. They will stay in US for 6 months, till March 1st week. They will spend time with us & their Daughters family @ DC. Next week Cousin Ram's Parents are arriving from India. Ram's Inlaws started back to India yesterday afternoon after 6 months!

Been 2 weeks since I logged in Twitter. :-) Lot of prep work being done, apart from some part time work, that is taking a lot of effort. Weekends are occupied again with SIL family now at DC. Alternate weekend travel would be there, but stay at home only - rarely takeouts & shop!
