We may have been quiet on social media for a few weeks, but we have been so busy getting ready for entertaining our lovely local community and followers! Band has never been fuller, with almost all seats filled, so we are feeling and sounding great and raring to go.

We are playing at the Bakewell Christmas Sparkle event today! What a wonderful way to kick off our Christmas programme. We will be playing from 11.30. Why not come down and enjoy getting in a festive mood with us?

This Sunday 13th November, Ashover Band will be taking part in Remembrance Services at Ashover All Saints Church at 10.45 am and Birchover Cenotaph at 3 pm followed by a service at St Michael's Church #lestweforget

Happy baby news at Ashover Band this week- 3 babies safely delivered to 3 of our band members families 👶👶👶Congrats to grandparents John S & Cath B and to great-grandma Betty.

We hope that these new arrivals will be ready to join our training band in a few years!

Want to learn or return to playing a brass instrument? Why not join our training band- open to all ages and levels of experience!
We provide instruments & tuition for an annual subscription of just £20. Rehearsals are 6-7 pm on Sunday evenings at the Ashover Parish Hall.

Our programme at Queen's Park was a little more reflective than normal with a few special tunes in honour of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The flowers and tributes laid at the bandstand were beautiful- we were glad to play a part in the act of remembrance at Chesterfield.
