There is a university running a bursary scum to which many have fallen victims. I have received over 26 testimonies. The bursary bait is used to enrol many unsuspecting excited ‘beneficiaries’ who later end up being trapped in fees when they’re already inside. In some cases, insiders will extort money from applicants promising bursaries, and they even issue bursary admissions, which the university denies as fake when it is too late for the student to change university. Beware, not all ‘bursaries’ are actually bursaries. Some are, some are traps. At the right time, all this information/testimonies will be laid bare for all to see the scum. No one will succeed in abusing Ugandans while silencing them from speaking out.

In Kayabwe, mourners were stunned by an extraordinary act of integrity from a boda boda rider.

Shifah, an electronics dealer in Kampala, was travelling with her child on a motorcycle along the Masaka highway when a speeding truck hit them. She died on the spot, and at the time she was carrying a bag with Shs 13 million in cash.

The rider who reached the scene first rescued the surviving child and collected the woman’s belongings, including the bag of money. Instead of disappearing with it, he kept it safe and only brought it back on the day of the burial, handing it to the grieving family who could not believe their eyes.

Family members and other mourners praised his rare honesty and asked God to abundantly reward him, noting that such integrity is uncommon in a country grappling with poverty.

The rider explained that he could never take money he did not earn. He said as a Muslim, taking it would bring a curse upon him, especially since its owner had died, adding that the cash would be more useful to the young orphans left behind.
