At the time, the 64-18 Suns had just came off a finals appearance, and Luka hadn’t made it out of the first round before that season. The Mavs were down 2-1 in the series, and the Suns were in full front running mode. That series is when we got the “Luka Special” from Devin Booker. Mavs pushed it to 7 games, and Luka walked into their building and ended the game before halftime, scoring as many points as the Suns entire team that first half. One of the most special playoff performances I’ve seen.
