Wrong. I know defense procurement is complicated but this borders on intentional misinformation.

This isn't a normal CR for defense. Section 1409 of the bill allows DOD the authority for new starts in FY25. It also provides for spending levels as determined in the House and Senate defense versions of the FY25 appropriations bill. Bottom line: DOD will essentially be receiving a full year FY25 appropriation for program execution.

At the same time that Congress has said they're freezing funding basically through the end of the year, so no new programs
