In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, I would like to spotlight important women in PA’s history, starting with PA native Marian Anderson. In 1955, she became the first Black singer to appear at the Metropolitan Opera. Now, the Kimmel Center is renaming their auditorium in her honor.
