Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard from many constituents about my position on the situation in Gaza. I want to be clear:

- I stand firmly for recognising a free and viable Palestinian state as part of a two-state solution alongside Israel.
- I support an immediate ceasefire, including the return of all hostages.
- I have consistently supported Canada taking a leadership role in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. I urgently call for an immediate end to the blockade and the entry of food and medical supplies. Denying people access to food and medicine is never acceptable.
- I have long supported Canada’s commitment to international institutions and international law.
- I will always stand against anti-Palestinian racism, Islamophobia, and Antisemitism.

I am committed to doing more. I will strive to be a voice for the voiceless — especially for the women and children who are suffering.

Many of my constituents are in deep pain. I hear you. I see you. And I want you to know: I stand with you — now and always.

Consulate organized the last Consular Camp of the season at Laxminarayan Mandir, Scarborough. Close to 250 life certificates were issued to the elderly.
