Having been past the scene to see for myself the aftermath, what will the government do about yet another incident?

They’ll send their condolences to the family and friends of those affected, condemn the actions of the attackers… and that’s it. Nothing will change. Disgraceful.

As we remembered the sad passing of club legend Rob Anderson from the start of the month, there was a memorable game at the HWCG yesterday.

A final wicket partnership of 43 allowed @southillcricket to scrape over the line, despite @Pucks_98’s magical 6-wicket hall.

A brilliant game played in excellent spirit from all saw us sneak home versus @SawtryCricket.

Matt Burgess batted through for a great 107* but running out of partners proved fatal as 252 wasn’t enough. Scott’s deserved ton fell six short, but a match winning innings nonetheless!
