@ladbible The guy in the red coat literally sits there for two seconds whilst glass flies his way, water rushes around him before thinking:
“Yeah, I better go”
Having been past the scene to see for myself the aftermath, what will the government do about yet another incident?
They’ll send their condolences to the family and friends of those affected, condemn the actions of the attackers… and that’s it. Nothing will change. Disgraceful.
The appalling incident on a train near Huntingdon is deeply concerning.
My thoughts are with all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency services for their response.
Anyone in the area should follow the advice of the police.
@TheRangeUK We’ve placed an online order that got stuck on the order confirmation page. The items are still in the basket with no orders in “my orders” section, yet we’ve been charged the full amount of nearly £700. Been trying four days to call customer service but there’s never an answer!
We’re looking for some experienced players to add some depth to our squad for the summer!
Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to play at a decent level, without the pressure you get at some of the bigger clubs in the area. You may even make the TikTok👀
@JamesPearceLFC Keeper’s going to his right and ball comes off the base of his left hand post.
Any keeper in the world with a clear line of sight wouldn’t have gotten anywhere near it to stop it. Terrible decision yet again from the officials.
@Carra23 I can’t imagine anyone at the club expects a replay either, but the more fuss we kick up the more likely we’ll see some actual action and improvements.
This is the 5th season with VAR and it’s as bad as ever. Why? Because clubs don’t do enough to demand change. We finally have.
@SadiqKhan Thousands, including children, will die this winter because half the country can’t afford food/heating thanks to this government.
Costs are astronomically high, yet “you can’t stand by whilst children’s lungs are stunted and Londoners are dying prematurely” due to the air!?! 🤦🏽♂️
As we remembered the sad passing of club legend Rob Anderson from the start of the month, there was a memorable game at the HWCG yesterday.
A final wicket partnership of 43 allowed @southillcricket to scrape over the line, despite @Pucks_98’s magical 6-wicket hall.
Thanks SPCC!
A brilliant game played in excellent spirit from all saw us sneak home versus @SawtryCricket.
Matt Burgess batted through for a great 107* but running out of partners proved fatal as 252 wasn’t enough. Scott’s deserved ton fell six short, but a match winning innings nonetheless!
Sabotaging a garden in protest of the use of oil and fossil fuels is like an animal activist protesting the rearing of animals for consumption by sacrificing a small goat.
How the hell do these clowns think their methods are the way to go?
🥀 BREAKING: JUST STOP OIL SUPPORTERS THROW PAINT OVER CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW GARDEN.
🍽️ What good is a garden if you can’t grow food? Millions are starving in the Global South whilst our government ignores the climate crisis, choosing to licence 100 new oil and gas projects.
We get over the line in an excellent, low scoring contest against @SawtryCricket.
Several contributions may seem key in such a tight affair, but ultimately to win a game of fine margins such as that takes the effort of all eleven.
We look forward to the replay already!
Gameweek two sees us host @FalconXICC’s second team, as long as the rain stays away!
This weeks match ball sponsor is @TSICBC, a local company who do an excellent job of bat refurbishments and repairs, alongside quality new cricketing equipment!
Our first league game kicks off this weekend as we welcome LGR XI to our village.
The return of Saturday cricket and @Huntsccl Division 2 awaits!
This week’s matchball sponsor is @CricketBarn who’s excellent facilities have hopefully prepared us well for the season ahead!
Following on from our Sunday League win last season, we shall be competing in @Huntsccl Division 2 this year, and a switch back to Saturday cricket.
If you want to join us on the next step of our journey, feel free to get in touch!
