My moment of happiness for the day: my lighting protégés still reach out to me for help. We struggle together as the software changes/as I have to figure out how to communicate what to do over a screen share, but. I’m still helping them. That connection matters to me.

My hot take of the day: you don’t get to judge a teacher for what you didn’t learn from the class if you stopped going halfway through the semester bc you weren’t learning 🤷‍♂️ Like. If you went the whole time and didn’t learn a thing, you gave it its fair shake. But you didn’t.

Guys… my Spotify wrapped is really bad. Like really bad. Like, over 2000 listens to my number 1 song and my number 1 artist has more minutes I’ve listened to it than some, if not most people have used for Spotify the whole year.

Of course it happens on the one trip I’ve been trying to organize and lead for forever. Of course it’s going to reflect badly on me and my preparation, not their organization….

The unprofessionalism in adding 2 workshops without telling the presenters and then getting mad that we didn’t show… they asked why we didn’t check the app when nothing we got today or in the last week had a workshop in the session and we were never told to check it constantly…

@bazinga_luvr_64 But the director proved they care! They did such a big favor of making it only one corner! It truly saved my entire capstone and I owe them everything for changing the blocking twice at my request to match the two special lights we had discussed from the very beginning.

Ya know, I love telling a director, “hey, you remember this 1/2 things I asked? The actor landing directly on center these few times? Can we make sure it’s happening right?” & getting told, “All I can do is pass on the note to the actor” :))) Thx, glad to see you have no control
