U.S.-Ethiopia exchange: Dr. Elyas Abdulahi is advancing evidence-based approaches to sustainable resource management in Ethiopia during his 10-month #HumphreyFellowship Program sponsored by the @StateDept.
Dr. Elyas is an Associate Professor of Population, Resources, and Environmental Economics and Vice President for Research at Jigjiga University. He is participating in a 10-month Humphrey Fellowship, a graduate-level professional exchange that brings mid-career leaders from around the world to the United States to pursue academic study and collaborate with American peers.
Dr. Elyas's Humprey Fellowship deepens academic and policy collaboration with the United States to the benefit of both nations.
