کراچی ٹیکس بار ایسوسی ایشن نے ایف بی آر سے ریٹرن جمع کرانے کی تاریخ میں توسیع اور تکنیکی مسائل فوری حل کرنے کا مطالبہ کر دیا۔ کراچی ٹیکس بار ایسوسی ایشن کی جانب سے ایف بی آر کو ارسال کیے گئے خط میں کہا گیا ہے آئی آر آئی ایس پورٹل خراب اور سست روی کا شکار ہونے کے باعث ٹیکس دہندگان بروقت ریٹرن جمع نہیں کروا پا رہے، جبکہ ایف بی آر نے ٹیکس ریٹرن فارم بھی تاخیر سے 2 ستمبر کو جاری کیا، نئے ٹیکس ریٹرن فارم میں ٹیکس دہندگان سے زیادہ اور اضافی معلومات طلب کی جا رہی ہیں، خط میں نشاندہی کی گئی کہ ٹیکس ایئر 2026 کے ریٹرن میں ریفنڈ درخواست کا آپشن موجود نہیں، جبکہ آئی آر آئی ایس میں ریٹرن فائل کرنے کے بعد تصدیقی جواب بھی موصول نہیں ہو رہا۔ کراچی ٹیکس بار نے مزید کہا کہ اسپیشل ٹیکس ایئر والے ریٹرن کا آپشن بھی آئی آر آئی ایس میں دستیاب نہیں ہے۔
