We stand in silence—
Yet the echoes scream.

While shadows walk unseen.
They said “Never again.”
But the earth remembers otherwise.
The soil still drinks the tears of mothers,
And peace trembles in the eyes of children.
We lay our wreaths,
For those who gave their tomorrows,
So we could live in peace today—
But are we living in peace?
Or merely rehearsing history
With sharper tools and softer screens?
They fought with guns,
We fight with words and wires—
Empires now built on data,
Battles waged in minds and markets.
The uniforms have changed,
But the hunger is the same—
To conquer, to own, to divide.

If remembrance means to honor,
Then let it also mean to awaken.
Let us remember not only the fallen,
But the hands that pushed them to fall.
