While Greece is shaken by yet another espionage scandal involving NATO secrets allegedly passed to China, Türkiye deploys an entire mechanized brigade to a major NATO exercise in Europe using its own capabilities.

A Greek Air Force colonel, with access to NATO classified intelligence, operational plans, and defense technologies, has been arrested for spying for Beijing. Greek media describe it as one of the most serious security breaches in recent years.

This is not without precedent.

Back then, classified data on Stinger, Harpoon, and ESSM missiles enabled the Soviet Union to replicate NATO missile technology.
