@seanpaulday @PolitlcsUK It's more complex than that. In the UK you can't make laws retrospectively and so repealling the law the Tories in the early 70s won't work. They need to draft new legislation which takes time as they have to ensure the wording stands up in court.

Does rule 17.2 not apply to the Netherla as they are the host nation? In the third handover of the womens relay, the incoming Dutch athlete clearly impeded the outgoing British runner.

Please explain how thos wasn't obstruction? @EuroAthletics
