Paramjeet Singh Pamma, Coordinator of the Khalistan Referendum, confronted a group of Indo-UK Hindu protesters outside the Bangladesh Embassy during a demonstration linked to the killing of Hindus in Bangladesh.

A brief scuffle broke out between an Indian Hindu protester and Pamma. UK police intervened promptly, separated the groups, and restored order. The intervention followed the dispersal of the Indo-UK Hindu protesters from the immediate area.

PRO-KHALISTAN SIKHS FORMED A PROTECTIVE PRESENCE

Pro-Khalistan Sikhs formed a protective presence around the Bangladesh Embassy, raising slogans including:

•    “Who Killed Shaheed Nijjar — Modi, Modi, India”

‘MOST WANTED’ BY INDIA — FREE IN THE UK

Paramjeet Singh Pamma is officially listed by India as a “most wanted terrorist.” This designation is India’s political and security label, repeatedly used against Khalistan activists.

The facts on the ground are clear:

    •    Pamma lives openly in the United Kingdom
    •    No UK court has convicted him of terrorism
    •    No extradition request has succeeded
    •    UK authorities have not validated India’s claims.

ঢাকা, ১২ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫: রাজধানীর বিজয়নগর এলাকায় ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের মুখপাত্র ও ঢাকা-৮ আসনের সম্ভাব্য স্বতন্ত্র প্রার্থী শরিফ ওসমান হাদি দুর্বৃত্তদের গুলিতে গুরুতর আহত হওয়ার ঘটনায় গভীর উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেছেন অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা প্রফেসর মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস।

তিনি বলেন, নির্বাচনী পরিবেশে এমন সহিংস হামলা একেবারেই অগ্রহণযোগ্য এবং দেশের শান্তিপূর্ণ রাজনৈতিক অঙ্গনের জন্য এটি অত্যন্ত দুঃখজনক ঘটনা।

আহত ওসমান হাদীর সর্বোচ্চ চিকিৎসা নিশ্চিত করতে সংশ্লিষ্টদের প্রয়োজনীয় সব ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন প্রধান উপদেষ্টা। এছাড়া চিকিৎসা কার্যক্রম নিবিড়ভাবে তদারকি করার জন্য স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়কে প্রয়োজনীয় দিকনির্দেশনা প্রদান করেছেন।

একই সঙ্গে প্রধান উপদেষ্টা আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীকে দ্রুত ও ব্যাপক তদন্ত চালিয়ে হামলায় জড়িত সবাইকে শনাক্ত করে আইনের আওতায় আনার কঠোর নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। তিনি ঘটনাস্থল থেকে আলামত সংগ্রহ, প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীর তথ্য গ্রহণ, সিসিটিভি ফুটেজ পর্যালোচনা এবং হামলার পেছনে কোনো সংগঠিত পরিকল্পনা থাকলে তা উন্মোচনের জন্য তাৎক্ষণিক পদক্ষেপ নিতে বলেছেন।

প্রধান উপদেষ্টা বলেন, *“নির্বাচনকে বাধাগ্রস্ত করার উদ্দেশ্যে কোনো ধরনের সহিংসতা* বরদাশত করা হবে না। জনগণের নিরাপত্তা এবং প্রার্থীদের অবাধ চলাচল নিশ্চিত করা আমাদের দায়িত্ব। দোষীরা যে-ই হোক, আইনের আওতায় আনা হবে।”

তিনি দেশের সকল রাজনৈতিক পক্ষ, কর্মী-সমর্থক এবং নাগরিকদের প্রতি শান্তি ও সংযম বজায় রাখার আহ্বান জানান, যাতে আসন্ন নির্বাচন শান্তিপূর্ণ, অংশগ্রহণমূলক ও নিরাপদ পরিবেশে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে পারে।
