If you want to know how it’s thought that the Joe Rogan podcast played a key role in making Trump president, watch the Oga Obinna interview with Riggy G. I had not watched the full show, save for a few clips here and there, but I slept late last night because, for more than three hours, I was glued to the show. In that show, you see the full picture and personality of Riggy G. Obinna was also smart; I loved how he started by asking him about his family, how he met his wife, and his advice on how to keep marriage and family intact. Riggy G’s answer was touching, especially how he met her while in college.
The interview reveals the personal and intimate side of him. He was calm and relaxed, not under the duress he would be in a typical mainstream media setting pinning him down. What I also found intriguing was the photo albums in his house, and interestingly, he still has Ruto’s photos, which show that, indeed, for Ruto to choose him over Kindiki, despite the latter winning more votes for running mate, they had a personal relationship, as he alludes, including Ruto crying in that house, which was true. I also liked how he took accountability, admitting he sold us a conman. He was remorseful and, more than once, asked Kenyans to forgive him and allow him to correct his mistakes by ensuring Ruto becomes WANTAM! My judgment and intuition tell me that everything Riggy G said about Ruto in that interview was true: the looting (2-3 trillion so far, including a bank), land grabbing, including IDP land, the knowledge of abductions, the consumption of fake intelligence and Haji’s incompetence, the kleptomaniac governance, and, more importantly, Ruto being a one-term president.
Rogan’s interviews are always that long, and they bring out the real and true version of a person. This was more of a Rogan interview than a Theo Von one. I doubt Ruto will ever agree to such a sit-down with Obinna and agree to be asked such general, hard questions in more of a discussion manner than the usual mainstream media approach he’s used to.
This is how mainstream media will be rendered irrelevant here in the buildup to 2027. If you have not watched that interview, approach it with an open mind. I have never watched any Obinna interview; this was the first one, and I must admit this was the best interview ever done with a politician. That interview, to me, doesn’t sanitize Riggy G, but it should incite you enough to ensure that Ruto doesn’t become president again in 2027. He must be nothing more than a WANTAM president who goes to Kamiti by January 2028, with all the loot recovered. It should be translated into all languages and distributed mashinani all over for Kasongo to go. So doleful!
