The Big 3 was never about all-time sales. One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach were dominating Shonen Jump in the early-to-mid 2000s, often sitting at #1, #2, and #3 in the magazine rankings, and became the face of that era. If sales were the only thing that mattered, you could just swap Naruto for Detective Conan too, which makes no sense.
Yes, they do. YouTube creates separate encoded streams for each resolution during processing after upload. That’s why when you upload a 4K video, the lower resolutions usually become available first, while 1080p and 4K appear later once those versions finish processing.
Otherwise, YouTube would have to resize and re-encode videos on the fly every time someone switched quality, across millions or billions of videos. That would be incredibly inefficient and put a massive load on their servers.
@boxyslides@OhNoItsAlexx The original post is about games that require a GPU with hardware ray-tracing support. Whether you turn the RT settings on or off has nothing to do with that hardware requirement.
That doesn’t really matter. Even if you turn the RT settings off, the game itself was built to require hardware ray-tracing support. It’s a hardware-level requirement, and that functionality simply doesn’t exist on older GPUs. Disabling some RT effects doesn’t suddenly make those GPUs compatible.
@Arielhan20@Raunak26241491 Bleach was on hiatus for 10 years, so it’s completely normal for animators to work on other shows. Just because Bleach came back doesn’t mean he, or other animators who worked on it before, would suddenly come back too. They’ve moved on to other projects.
And why do you think Sony is moving away from physical media? Because their future consoles will be digital-only, and this handheld could be one of the reasons why. They want people to stop buying discs because they simply won’t be able to use them on future consoles. I’m not saying it’s a good move, though.
