Per an order Wednesday from @GovernorVA, the Virginia flag over the Capitol is to be lowered to half staff Thursday from sunrise to sunset to honor the memory of Montford Point Marine Robert E. Kindred III. Kindred, 95, of Chesapeake, died July 31 and was buried Aug. 5.
