This might be hyperbolic but it does kind of feel, working with Fable, like I have actually reached the point where it's smarter than me at most stuff and I'm kind of holding it back. Maybe I've just caught a case of the psychoses.
@TheZvi It is so much better at intuiting not just how to solve a problem but what problem actually needs solving. I feel so much more confident and have had such better luck just saying, "This is where I want to get to." It is melting through previously intractable problems.
@tracewoodgrains@NateSilver538 I do find demonflyingfox's "Harry Potter by Balenciaga" (both versions for their time) to be neat implementations of a (admittedly quite derivative) concept.
@TetraspaceWest I honestly believe that having a state religion, which everyone pretty much ignores, is a low-level societal inoculation against the worst excesses of personal public religiosity.
@EneaszWrites A man is wearing The Dress and holding a hot dog that might also be a sandwich. Behind him a trolley barrels toward 10^16 shrimp on one track and a single bee with a rich inner life on the other, the lever is covered in Lithium.
@voooooogel My vote changes depending on the audience.
Literally everyone in the world forced to push the button - Blue.
Among rats who have seen this question a few times - Red.
Hi @ttshieronym, someone reached out to me to make an audio version of To The Stars. I help produce neural voice synthesis audio of long-form fiction via ElevenLabs, here's an example: https://t.co/iQ88qRa1QN. How would you feel about that being made available as a public feed?
@TetraspaceWest Was a dedicated reader of Casey and Andy, then really enjoyed The martian when it came out. Was shocked to realise they were by the same guy.
