@IIT_ARC_413_568 although we are encouraged to explore our options beyond the field of architecture. how can we start to mix other fields with architecture? it appears to be more successful and fun when the traditional idea of architecture is mixed with an unrelated field.
@lilmcphil @IIT_ARC_413_568 i think for certain technological values that come with forward thinking, architects should not take ownership, because some dont know well enough regarding the topic then someone who isnt an architect. everyone is an expert in their own field.
@lilmcphil @IIT_ARC_413_568 i think they do because certain firms like to bring in people from all kinds of different work environments in order for the people int he workforce to learn from each other.
@IIT_ARC_413_568 what are the longterm affects of having a project like boombox placed in a specific spot in the neighborhood? since it is only for pop up shops, how aware are people its potential?
@IIT_ARC_413_568 how often do firms employ people from different backgrounds but are interested in for example what design with company does and wants to do?
@IIT_ARC_413_568 how can we efficiently encourage small and local popup shops to use the boombox? how can the boombox be a gateway to a series of opportunities for those local popup shops?
@lilmcphil @IIT_ARC_413_568 depends on the firm i think. if you are applying to a traditional firm, then they might want you to have some background in a traditional firm environment. @IIT_ARC_413_568
@AurinikoShavers@IIT_ARC_413_568 i dont think engineers enjoy working with curves, but AsLong as the architect provides them with drawings and details, it can be constructed
@realkurtcheang @IIT_ARC_413_568 i think some clients need you to be able to meet deadlines, so they can meet their own deadlines. depending on the scale of the project
