@RLZ87_@rhensn_@garfungle@tirii_f1 I did just fact check, no ground effect does not introduce a lot of drag, however, the wings this season are much less downforce focused, which results in the faster straight line speed
@RLZ87_@rhensn_@garfungle@tirii_f1 He's right, when you have ground effect, the downforce is astronomical, making cornering speeds higher, this introduces drag which makes the car slower on a straight, ground effect has been removed, reducing downforce, therefore slower in the corner and faster on the straight
@DavDav0000@autosport You are right, but some context is needed, the difficulty of driving the car is mostly physical, take away the g-force, the heat and the general strain and anyone can drive the car with coaching and simulator time, but even then still insanely difficult

@autosport Im not a lewis fan, but thats moment was so uplifting to me, driving a car that is actively against you, and still crawling to thr finish to take the win with a faster car approaching quickly
