In case you still don't get how insane it is that a @CollegeDems speaker gets invited against the will of the majority of members, then appears in a "Mao suit" (as Hasan Piker calls it) and then decides who can join the public event and who is not allowed in -

instead -

just imagine Nick Fuentes appearing in a "Hitler suit" as speaker in a College Republican event in which he gives a fiery speaks about how the GOP has failed him and deserves to be detroyed.

I appreciate @TheOmniLiberal deciding to share his side of events and giving clear public accounts over at @WhickTv* about 1) what really happened at the outrageous @CollegeDems event, 2) what @DigitalGroundG really stands for and 3) how toxic the whole far-left "snarker" network really is.

It seems that the recent overreach and abuse of power at @CollegeDems has crossed a line for many liberals and clearly demonstrated what can happen if you both keep a blind eye to radicalized fringe groups and leave the public narrative exclusively in the hands of bigoted extremists.

For too long have hostile actors like Hasan Piker dominated the public discourse and smeared the image of liberal activists through coordinated spam reporting, brigading, intimidation and harassment of critical voices.

These kinds of interviews are great sources for answering questions people might have when looking in from the outside and represent a very appreciated signal that one of @TheDemocrats' most dedicated supporters and (likely) the politically most effective liberal online community** is still alive and kicking 🇺🇸🦅

Not yet, but the @CollegeDems have already been infiltrated by Hasan Piker's Marxist-Leninis-Islamist cult, which is why it's vital to not act like the threat of far-left extremism is not real.

Just because it might "look bad" to admit they exist, doesn't mean we should just let them destroy our chances to win.
