Charlie Kirk reminded us that a life of courage and virtue isn’t easy—but it’s worth living. His example should inspire us all to stand boldly for what’s right.
Well now Starship is even more resilient to failures
> booster loses one engine for the entire flight (unplanned)
> simulates engine out during landing (as planned)
> probably also simulates a stuck grid fin in the landing burn
> manages to land successfully on target (no problem since superheavy has already demonstrated engine out capabilities)
> ship reaches SECO
> ship deploys all of its simlinks
> does the in space relight burn
> experiences a mild explosion probably due to a frozen vent in the aft section
> has flap burn through in the aft
> many missing tiles and tile experiments
> STILL successfully nails the landing
> the FWD flaps burn through is FIXED
> resonance is fixed
> payload deployment issues are fixed
> heat shield team finally gets data
> minor amounts of ablation in the heat shield
> booster reuse has already been achieved
Starship and superheavy are BACK on track and full steam-ing ahead into achieving what they are designed to do.
So the GDP per capita of the us is 4.5x that of Romania, while the area of the US is over 38x larger than Romanias.
I encourage you to visit some rural parts of the US whether in person or on google maps and tell me how many houses you see on a 10 mile country road, if you are in urban areas of course there will be the infrastructure even my town of 8,000 had gigabit fiber
Here where I live in the Mountains of Tennessee there is some fiber options in bigger towns but if you live off in the proper Mountains you have a few options:
Traditional Satellite Internet-Not Worth
Cellular Service WiFi/Hotspot-Good if you have good service & much cheaper than the others
Starlink-My current provider love it, don’t mind paying $120/month so far very reliable
DSL-Probably the worst option at least where I am, Centurylink was the original provider at my current address down/up was around .2/.5mbps yes 0.2 & 0.5 megabits/s
Sure our companies and government could aid in the process of getting everyone connected to highspeed fiber, it’s just not realistic though, it would cost tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars, Starlink is a great alternative.
