📢 Superannuation Tax Changes Announced
The Govt has refined its proposed changes to super tax concessions for large balances:
💰 30% tax on $3M–$10M
💰 40% tax on $10M+
📈 Thresholds to be indexed
⏳ Start date delayed to 1 July 2026
💼 Applies to future realised earnings only
No further announcement was made on the additional tax on super earnings for those with more than $3 million inside the super system. The lack of further announcements is an indication the Government isn’t budging. #Budget2024
