Widowed mummy to identical twin girls, aged 4. 3 rounds of IVF, late husband had a brain injury before passing. Solo mum. Massage, holistic + hypnotherapist
@AsdaServiceTeam problems with your system? My order was delivered 2 hours late, and half of it missing. Means I have to do a 6.30am dash to Co-op to get things to kids packed lunches. Can’t even get into the order on the app to complain as it still says out for delivery. Ideas?!
@Our_Maybe_Baby Aah thats lovely. Well sadly my husband actually passed away 3 years ago now (but since I’ve not been on Twitter I guess I’ve not mentioned that publicly). His brain injury was way too severe, he never recovered. I miss him a lot 😔 Twins are 4 now, school in Sept!
@PreggieWifeSays Thankyou xx They won’t say but brain injury survivors make the most improvement in the first 12 months. So I personally think he’s done all he can and won’t recover any further. He’s totally dependent on others for everything & has mentality of a toddler.
Sorry for being quiet of late; this is how life looks right about now..! Messy & giggly! How we got to 5 months is beyond me. Husband doing badly, rehab not helping but my girls keeping me going. Hope all in the twitterverse are hanging in there ❤️
@PCOS_scrambled Husband no better. He won’t ever come home I don’t think. Needs 24/7 care, still totally dependent on nursing staff for all his needs. Xx
So, life is a little easier...! Shock has eased, sleep deprivation easier to deal with, and I’ve given up breastfeeding. Impossible with twins on my own, so we are bottle feeding all the way & all much happier for it. Freya & Arielle are awesome 😍❤️
@GlitteryDuck Hi, I think we are ok...! Girls didn’t sleep a wink night before last so neither did I...but last night was good. Makes it all bearable! How are you? Xxx
