Making an announcement post. I'm not leaving Twitter, but I will be much less active than on my BSky. If you'd like to see more art of my characters, or to reach out for future commissions, go follow me there!
Link in bio. <3
Want me to sit on your face? Fret no longer, for just 69usd (I’m serious) you can have your character be suckin on Trick’s donut! DM me if interested :3
Psa: Artists
Stop stacking your queue with upfront payments on comms and never getting them done.
Instead, raise your prices, gather a list of clients interested in commissioning, and create a queue for them. For the ones you accept, only take payment when you get to their spot on queue, and actually get to work after you've been paid. A few hours a day of work after youve been paid is enough.
Too many artists stack on too much work at once and dont make it a priority to actually finish the job they've been paid for. When you accept work for money, you need to take it seriously and professionally and be transparent about the progress you've made.
Taking orders on projects you never intend to finish is textbook fraud and will tank your career. For clients, if you see an artist do this frequently, avoid working them.
