Oswald Peraza with an RBI triple off Yoshinobu Yamamoto after Wade Meckler reached on a bunt single and the #Angels are up 1-0 in the first. It hit off Andy Pages' glove in center.

Sure, I tell myself, I'll just do quick article from this interview with a prospect about his first pro loss.

Brent sets the stage and welcomes us in to an all-time classic college football grudge match from South Bend.
If the Knicks make the Finals ABC should work Walt Frazier and Marv Albert into the telecast in some way. Marv called the Knicks' first two championships & was the voice of the NBA for many years. Clyde was on both of those teams & has been calling Knicks games for over 35 years.
I was there with John Elway when he had the most sublime final act imaginable. Aaron Rodgers might not get that... but it will probably be better than it was last January. My column for @TheAthletic

NFL Schedule Release - Thursday at 8pm ET on ESPN/NFLN
All the talk is about Michael, Magic, Bird and now LeBron but @JuliusErving carried the @NBA and pro basketball in the 1970s damn near by himself when it came to entertainment and MUST SEE players in that era.
I don’t think he gets enough praise for how FANtastic he was……
Heaven Birthday, Weeb Ewbank🕯️
NFL Legend, PFHOF Class of 1978
The only head coach to win a championship in the NFL and AFL
The winning head coach in two of NFL history's watershed games — the 1958 NFL Championship with the #Baltimore Colts, and Super Bowl III with the #Jets
A multi-sport athlete while at Miami of Ohio — "The Cradle of Coaches", Weeb eventually served as an assistant coach under Paul Brown at the Great Lakes Naval Station and later with the Browns.
After winning AAFC and NFL titles with Cleveland, Ewbank built the Colts from a league doormat into two-time NFL champions in the late-1950s.
In 1963, he became head coach and general manager of the Jets, constructing and leading the team to its eventual, stunning Super Bowl III triumph.

Easily my favorite personal Sterling memory: I asked John to make a home run call for my Dad as his Father’s Day present about 8 or 9 years ago. With absolutely no hesitation, he freestyled this HR call off the dome. My dad to this day tells me it was the greatest gift he’d ever gotten.
