where 161 adolescent girls from different parts of Assam participated.
In the morning participants were taken to visit Science Museum to give a first-hand experience and promotion of STEM among girls.

Around 200 state & district officials have already been trained in SBC in past years with support from UNICEF and ROSHNI- Lady Irwin College, Delhi.The Training on Rolling out of Water Quality Testing through Field Testing Kits was also held for all the Resource Pool members.
ToT meet2025 was held on 19th aug at Guwahati, where the participants-Resource Pool members from all ICDS projects of the state participated . Further, WCD, Assam in collaboration with UNICEF released two training modules on social & behaviour change in context of nutrition

On 31/7/2025, based on a special operation, the DLTF of Nagaon rescued a total of three suspected child and adolescent labourers.
Subsequently, the rescued children were handed over to the Child Welfare Committee for further necessary action and protection.
It is hoped that all the officers will carry out their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication for the welfare of society and the people.

A six-day Orientation Programme was organized by the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Assam, for the newly appointed Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) at the Assam Administrative Staff College from 16th to 21st June, 2025.
Along with Director and other higher officers of the department were attended the closing session, delivered a concluding address, and motivated the officers to become capable and dedicated on there field.
On the last day, International Yoga day was celebrated with them along with other WCD Department Officials. We are hopeful that in the coming days, everyone will do their duties for the benefit of the society and the public.
